Roles & Responsibilities of a Fire Warden / Fire Marshal

Evacuation Chair Training

Fire warden training

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, it is a legal requirement that in the event of a fire you have trained staff who can take control of the situation and help in the effective evacuation of staff and members of the public.

The course looks at the roles and responsibilities of the Fire Warden / Fire Marshal, evacuation procedures, basic fire risk assessment, spotting the hazards and causes of fire and contacting the necessary services.

Fire risk assessment

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, 2005, it is now compulsory for companies to undertake a Fire Risk Assessment.

The regulations came into force on the 1st October 2006 and this new approach to fire safety law has been introduced to simplify regulations and make it more straightforward for people to understand what they should do.

We can assist your business to comply with the regulations by undertaking a fire risk assessment audit on your behalf, submitting a full report on our findings and to make recommendations where necessary.
