What the law says

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, it is a legal requirement that in the event of a fire you have trained staff who can take control of the situation and help in the effective evacuation of staff and members of the public.

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, 2005, it is now compulsory for companies to undertake a Fire Risk Assessment.
